Specialist Solutions

Thanks to the investment made in our state of the art Computer Aided Design systems and the extensive engineering experience within 3CB we have developed a capability of problem solving within the steel framed building sector, and beyond, that have yielded results in a number of areas.

We can also undertake specialist fabrication work associated with our steel building, such as ‘cat walks’ loading platforms etc

Steel building challenges that we have solved issues include:-

Noise containment buildings
Utilising specialist solutions we are able to reduce noise levels outside our steel building. This is typically relevant where there are process control noises, test house noise or very commonly air compressor noise.

To undertake the work thoroughly we need to understand noise levels at a range of frequencies such that we offer the appropriate solution. To do this we undertake noise surveys at the outset.

Dust containment enclosures
Certain environments require the installation of specialist enclosures to minimise dust levels in a particular area of a facility. We have undertaken a number of these installations and can often custom design the solution for fabrication within our own workshop prior to delivery – thereby minimising site disruption.

Clean Rooms for food processing 
By lining our buildings in appropriate materials the interiors can be readily pressure washed for cleanliness. We use materials provided by such companies as Hemsec that provide the perfect solution for such environmental requirements. Naturally enough the fit out includes the correct IP (Ingress Protection) rating for electrical equipment.
